Phelps, Barbara L. Schafer, age 83, died on Monday June 18, 2018 at Geneva Living Center North.
Friends may call on Friday (June 29) from 10-11am at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A memorial service will follow at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Adrian Tierson officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Oaks Corners.
Barbara was born on March 4, 1935 in Rockville Center Long Island. She is the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Mills Enders. Barbara loved nature and all of its beauty. She enjoyed birds, flowers and gardening. Most important to her was her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband Gerald Schafer of Phelps

Great-grandchildren; Mason, Bryce, Cole, Ella, Allison, Elena, Peter, Joseph, Todd and Kairi.

Several nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by her beloved sister Bette Ann Enders.
