Charles Joseph Smith

Charles Joseph Smith 10/29/1958 - 04/22/2020 Canandaigua, NY Chuck is predeceased by his mother, V. Mary Pronest Smith (9/5/1926- 1/17/2010) and his sister Margaret M Smith (11/17/1961-08/31/1980). Chuck is survived by his father, Donald R Smith, brother Terrence Smith, sisters Beth (Mark) Power and Christine Smith (Matthew Roberts). Chuck leaves behind several nieces and nephews that he was very proud of; Leslie Smith (Steve Ransom), Andrew Smith, Benjamin (Adrienne) Smith, Catherine (Josue) Espada. Emily Power (Jacob Shearing), Mark Power Jr, and David Power. Great nieces and nephews; Tyelor Dingman, Troy Dingman, Georgia Ransom, Kolton Gordner, Mason Smith, Joslyan Espada, Joshua Espada and Evangeline Espada. Chuck was a highly intelligent man with an eidetic memory. He was inclined mechanically and could take an engine apart and put it back together by memory. He spent many years working construction and was meticulous about achieving perfect results. He was a very proud craftsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and although he preferred living alone, he also enjoyed kicking back and spending time with family and friends. Chuck loved dogs and had a few favorites in his lifetime. He was a kind, sensitive, witty and loving brother, son and friend, who will be dearly missed.
