Dawn M. Nieskes

Phelps, Dawn M. Nieskes age 69, died peacefully on Friday August 9, 2024 at the House of John in Clifton Spirings with her loving family by her side.

Friends may call on Wednesday (Aug 14) from 4-7pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps.

It is requested that memorial donations be made in memory of Dawn to the House of John 14 Spring Street Clifton Springs, NY 14432 or Lipson Cancer Center 2 Coulter Road Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Dawn was born on June 14, 1955 in Clifton Springs, NY the daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine Fisher VerStraete.
She was a Past President of the Phelps Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary. Dawn loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending their school and sporting events. She was their biggest cheerleader. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending summers camping at Junius Ponds (with their many friends and family). Dawn also loved her daily coffee dates with her sister in law Gail.
