Donald Bruce Soles

Seminole - Donald Bruce Soles age 81 of Seminole Florida passed away on Tuesday October 26th, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday January 8, 2022, 11:30am at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Donald was born July 14th, 1940, in Geneva NY. Donald attended school in Phelps NY and worked as a mechanic. Donald relocated to Florida where he began working for the Pinellas County School Board as a mechanic, after 30 years of employment he retired from his job but remained a loyal friend to his coworkers. Donald is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Hazel Soles (Gittens) His loving wife of 40 years Judy Soles (Mears) and brother Sherman Soles. He is survived by his children John Soles (Terry) Donna Soles (Anthony) stepdaughter Julie Avera, Grandchildren Michael Amanda Alexis Kimberly Travis Spring crystal and Lillie, Great Grandchildren McKinley Lorenzo Peyton Derek, Abby Jack and Aleyah Nephews Dan and Tim Soles and many other family members and friends. Donald was never hesitant to offer a helping hand to anyone at any time. He enjoyed Nascar and was an avid Dale Earnhardt Senior fan. Donald enjoyed working on cars and fixing whatever needed to be fixed. He enjoyed turning "junk" into a treasure. You would often find Donald working in his garage or a friend's garage or simply relaxing with friends and family sharing many wonderful stories. Donald was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Donald's friends for their love and support throughout his years. Words could not express our sincere gratitude.
