Eleanor R. Follette

Eleanor R. Follette age 92, died on Thursday February 2, 2023 at DeMay Living Center in Newark.

Friends may call on Tuesday (Feb. 7) from 11am-12 Noon at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will follow at Noon with Rev. Brian Fellows officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Cemetery.

Mrs. Follette was born on September 19, 1930 in Rose, NY the daughter of the late Jay and Florence Kaiser Shepard. She retired from the Newark Developmental Center.
After retirement she worked as a home health aid taking care of several elderly patients. When her mother was ill she moved her into her home where she cared for her until her passing.
Mrs. Follette also took care of her husband at home until his passing in 2008. She loved flowers especially roses.

She was predeceased by husband Frederick Follette and was the last living sibling of 9 children
