Judith A. "Judy" Springer, age 54, died on Thursday (February 24, 2022) at Strong Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday (March 2) at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E River Street, Waterloo, NY 13165. Judy was born on July 8, 1967 in Clarksville, Tenn. The daughter of Frank and Judith Eddington Woznick. Judy was a RN for Rochester Regional Health. She loved lounging by the pool, online shopping and her beloved dog, Ginger. Disney was a passion of Judy's, having taken several trips a year down to Disney with her husband Chris, always exploring the parks, but Magic Kingdom was always her favorite. Family and close friends were most important to Judy. Judy is survived by her husband of 11 years, Chris Springer of Phelps; daughters, Heather Homrighouse of Florida, Shannon (Bryan) Gray of Clifton Springs, Morgan Springer of Farmington and Katelyn Springer of Newark; granddaughter, Hannah Gray; father, Frank (Geri Olivier) Woznick of Rhode Island; brother, Frankie (Candy Day) Woznick of Texas; nephew, Tyler Woznick of Texas; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. Judy was predeceased by her mother, Judith Woznick.
