Kathryn C. “Kay” Rishel age 90, passed away on Monday March 2, 2026 at Geneva General Hospital

Funeral services will be private for the family.

It is requested that memorial donations be made to the United Church of Phelps 58 Main Street Phelps, NY 14532.

Kay was born on July 22, 1935 in Phelps, New York the daughter of the late Walter and Madelyn VanCamp Maslyn.
She was a member of the United Church of Phelps. Kay loved fishing in Canada with her husband Rodney. She was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan. She was proud of her Dutch Heritage. Kay loved her family and was happiest when they were all together.

She is survived by her 2 sons. Chris (Robin) Rishel of Phelps
Rodney Rishel of Little Orleans MD.
