Rev. Lyn L. Dean

Sodus, Lyn L. Dean age 79 died on Friday July 5, 2024 at Rochester General Hospital.

There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 12-3pm at the Newark VFW 225 E. Union Street Newark, NY 14513.

It is requested that memorial contributions be made to the Wayne County Humane Society 1475 County House Road Lyons, NY 14489.

Known as Rev. Lyn to many people, she was born on May 1, 1945 in Dexter, NY, the daughter of the late Max and Margaret Critchfield (Winegar). She founded Angel Heart Chapel in Newark were she was the Pastor for many years. Rev. Lyn also taught Mediumship and Spiritual Healing in Lily Dale, NY. Rev. Lyn was a professional seamstress and also the Past Editor for the Wayne County Star.
Above all was her love for her family and her dogs.

She is survived by her 2 sons Aaron (Katie) Dean of Lyons,
Eric (Rene') Dean of Sodus,
5 grandchildren Aaron, Chase, Victoria, Areyanna, Alonnah and her great-granddaughter Charlotte.
