Wells "Pete" Robert Bliven

Phelps, Wells Robert Pete Bliven age 62 died peacefully at home Wednesday November 15, 2017surrounded by the love of his family.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Petes life on Sunday (Nov. 19) 1pm at the Phelps American Legion 1346 State Rt. 96 Phelps.
It is requested that memorial donations in memory of Pete be made to the Phelps American Legion 1346 State Rt. 96 Phelps, NY 14532
Pete was born on December 31, 1954 in Clifton Springs, NY the son of the late Harry and Mitzi Morgan Bliven. Pete enjoyed traveling and has seen the entire country. He has had an address in every state. He was working in North Carolina for the past several years and really enjoyed living there until he returned back to Phelps a few years ago. Phelps was always home for Pete. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling on the horses.Pete loved is family especially his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Pete never said goodbye. He had a saying and now its our time to say to Pete. Be well and be safe my friend!
Pete is survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia Fling Bliven of Phelps
Daughter Maggie (Brad) Almekinder of Phelps
Step-daughter Brooke (Dave) Smith
Grandchildren; Hannah Smith, Estella, Eliza and Bradley Almekinder
Sisters and brother Kelly (Kevin) Albrecht
many nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his sister and brother in law Randy (Dutch) Russell
Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps
