Obituary of Jesse M. Gillespie

Clifton Springs,  Mr. Jesse M. Gillespie, age 72 died unexpectedly on Friday June 9, 2017 at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.

Friends are invited to attend a Masonic Service on Wednesday (June 14) 11am at Garoga-Sincerity Lodge 67 Ontario Street Phelps NY. A celebration of life will follow in the Lodge Hall. 

 Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. Mr. Gillespie was born on February 15, 1945 in Rochester NY. He retired from Garlock’s in Palmyra. He enjoyed volunteering as a driver for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Canandaigua. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He was always laughing and having fun. Mr. Gillespie was always there for anyone that was in need. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Gillespie was a member of the Garoga-Sincerity Lodge #200 F&AM 

It is requested that memorial donations be made to DAV 400 Fort Hill Road Canandaigua, NY 14424.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Sharon Gillespie of Clifton Springs

3 daughters Yvonne (Todd) Pryor of Clifton Springs

Wendy (Leonard) Dimon of Geneva

Tammy (Joe) Bates of Waterloo

4 Grandchildren Jessica, Taylor, Hunter and Jordan

Sister Judy (John) Recktenwald of Lima

His beloved dog Nikki

Many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
