Obituary of Lorraine Eyth
Palmyra, Lorraine A. Eyth age 65 died unexpectedly on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at her home.
Friends may call on Saturday April 14 from 11-2pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps.
It is requested that memorial donations be made to the family for a college fund established for Lorraine’s grandchildren.
Lorraine was born on September 15, 1952 in the Bronx. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Phelan McCarthy. Lorraine worked as a Mental Health Therapist for Wayne County Behavioral Health. She had a deep love for dogs and was a Bull Dog breeder for more than 25 years and enjoyed taking them to shows. Her concern was always for the dog insuring that every dog had a health check. Lorraine will be remembered for her no non-sense demeanor.
She is survived by her daughters Karen (Alec) Ruderman of Mesa AZ
Christy (Frank) Modaffari of Phelps
2 grandsons Vincent and Giovanni Modaffari
Brother John (Carla) McCarthy of TN
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas who died in 2016 and her sister Maureen McCarthy.
