





Obituary of Lawrence Linehan
Phelps, Lawrence P. “Larry” Linehan Jr. age 77 died on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic
Friends may call on Friday (Dec. 7) from 4-7pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (Dec 8) 10am at St. Francis Church in Phelps with Celebrant Rev. Thomas Mull and Con-Celebrant Rev. Phillip Billotte. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Phelps.
It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Clifton Springs Hospital Foundation 2 Coulter Road Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
Larry was born on June 21, 1941 in Geneva, NY the son of the late Lawrence and Mary Carrager Linehan Sr. Larry worked for Taylor Brown Hospital in Waterloo for 10 years where he started as an Orderly. He went to work for Willard Psychiatric Hospital as a Psychiatric Aid and retired after 34 years. Larry was a true outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and take walks. He loved nature and all its beauty. He enjoyed feeding birds and was an avid gardner. Larry was a kind and gentle man who loved the simple things in life. But most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his best friend and wife Mary Linehan

He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Martha, Bernie, Pat, Nancy, Donnie, Maureen, Joe and Mike.
