Obituary of Bruce S. Bennett

Clifton Springs. Bruce S. Bennett age 68, died on Sunday September 12, 2021 at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Friday (Sept. 17) 10am at St. Felix Church in Clifton Springs with Father Anthony Amato officiating. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. It is requested that donations in memory of Bruce be made to St. Peters Parish 12 Hibbard Avenue Clifton Springs, NY 14432. Bruce was born in Providence, Rhode Island on February 21, 1953 the son of the late Richard and Helen Berard Bennett. He graduated from Rhode Island College. He went on to earn his CRNA degree from Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and his Masters Degree from Anna Maria in Worcester, Mass. He retired from Women and Infants in Providence Rhode Island. He was a true lover of golf. He also loved the Yankees and the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed vacationing in Florida and of course being able to play golf there. Bruce coached his sons in sports and was to proud to be able to watch them play sports all through college. He enjoyed computers, going to the movies and eating out. Bruce was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Terry Bennett of Clifton Springs Sons Jason (Wendy) Bennett of Long Island Ryan (Sarah) Bennett of Clifton Springs Grandchildren Chelsea, Jesse, Joah, Japhia and Jovie. Brothers and sister Michael (Marie) Bennett of Fall River Mass. Daniel (Johanne) Bennett of South Attleboro, Mass David (Donna) Bennett of Lincoln Rhode Island Patricia (Donald) Laboissiere of Lincoln, Rhode Island Many nieces and nephews
