Obituary of Henry J. Landschoot
Henry "Hank" John Landschoot, age 95, died peacefully at Huntington Living Center on Friday November 26, 2021.
Friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday (Dec. 1) 10am at St. Francis Cemetery in Phelps.
Henry was born April 27th, 1926 in Phelps to the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank Landschoot. He married his wife Irene (Fechina-Henning) in 1946 and they spent 72 years together. They worked side by side at the family owned Landsdale Poultry Farm and had a market in Rochester for many years. Henry enjoyed hunting and fishing with neighbors and friends. After retiring the couple traveled, had many hobbies together, fished at their cottage in Clyde, and planned annual camping trips with their family.
He is survived by his children Henry (Jane) Landschoot Jr. of Waterloo, April Landschoot of Buffalo, Paul (Celeste) Landschoot of Phelps, Leslie Landschoot of Phelps; grandchildren Beth (Johnathan), Craig, Jennifer, Paul Jr. (Angela), Sarah (Cody), Devon and Amber; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Irene, and two brothers, Francis and Arthur.
Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps.
